Distracted driving has become a major problem and has been responsible for taking a number of lives. It has taken the lives of some and changed the lives of others in the most negative of ways. The state of Florida has provided their civilians with several methods of information on distracted driving in order to keep the public safe. Some may claim that Florida might lack in informing it’s citizens but it has reached many people through laws, campaigns, PSAs, seminars, and social media. Information about distracted driving is open to everyone in the state and is just a matter of who listens and who does not. The state of Florida has done more than enough to promote safety and security to it’s citizens. In the end it’s up to a person to make their choice whether to listen or to disregard lifesaving advice. Accessibility is one of the most pivotal force to have at your side when communicating with an audience as big as the state of Florida. Although others may claim there is not a wide availability on distracted driving or there isn’t enough promotion about it’s affects, the state of Florida has provided exceptional coverage. One of them is the ban on texting while driving. Texting while driving takes away your focus from the road and transfers it on to your screen. As humans we are not physically made to multitask so texting and driving end up being a very dangerous mix. Texting and driving seems to be the most popular of the distractions while driving.
