Wednesday, October 18, 2017 The Distinctive Divas, a girls group at Welborn Academy of Science and Technology, are not only on the trail towards goods grades and academics, but learning and leading with strong character. In Guilford County Schools, one of the Strategic Plan’s goal is to provide students with the tools and motivation necessary to positively impact our world. Cynethia Mayhand, founder of the Distinctive Divas, is making certain that that happens. Mrs. Mayhand, CTE teacher, believes deeply in-Service Learning and has created a partnership with Shannon Gray Rehabilitation & Recovery, a nursing home in Jamestown, NC.
