Dissociative Amnesia

Dissociative Amnesia is when a person is overly stressed, which can be caused by abuse, accident or disasters? The person may be suffering from the trauma that they have witnessed. But it also can be an inherited illness, as relatives often have dissociative amnesia. It’s an illness where someone cannot remember important information about their lives. This forgetting can be limited to certain specific areas or may include the person’s life history and/or identity. Memory recovery may happen on its own after being triggered by something in the person’s surroundings or in therapy. Memory eventually returns slowly and sometimes suddenly. Cluster A personality disorders is when a person is called the odd, eccentric cluster.. It includes being a paranoid personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder and schizotypal personality disorder. People having these disorders are socially awkward and socially withdrawn. They are dominated by distorted thinking. Paranoid Personality Disorder tends to distrust and are suspicious of other people. They think people are out to harm them, take advantage of them and to humiliate them. They don’t confide in others and don’t develop close relationships. Schizoid Personality Disorder has a social detachment and a restricted range of emotional expression. They tend to be socially isolated. They don’t seek out or enjoy close relationships. Sometimes they are referred as ‘loners. Emotionally they seem detached and cold. This disorder appears to be rather rare. Schizotypal Personality Disorder experience acute discomfort in social settings. They tend to be socially isolated, reserved and distant. They have odd beliefs, for example thinking that they can read other people’s thoughts. They have superstitious beliefs and fantasies. This disorder is more commonly founded in families where someone else has already been diagnosed with schizophrenia. Avoidant personality disorder too sensitive to criticism or rejections, feels inadequate, inferior or unattractive, extremely shy in social situations and personal relationships and fear of disapproval, embarrassment or ridicule. Dependent personality disorder is excessively dependent on others and feels the need to be taken care of, clingy behavior towards others, lack of self-confidence, difficulty disagreeing with others tolerance of poor or abusive treatment, and urgent need to start a new relationship when just closing one.
