The Gold Coast is known for its iconic beaches that attract holidaymakers, businessmen and women, and people looking for a laidback lifestyle. Gold Coasters are among the many Australians who enjoy their coffee on the go, but what happens when the convenient disposable coffee cup jeopardises the natural environment. Initially, the environmental effects of disposable coffee cup use were looked at from a local perspective.
