I remember we had an officer that worked on campus one time and he was going to arrest a guy running without his shirt on campus. Evidently, there’s a policy. It was probably 10 years ago. He was by the book officer. I told him I run around here without my shirt on campus plenty of times, and I’ve never been stopped. I was running probably prior 10 years before that.

The mean response equals 3, which leans towards agree. Agree is in the middle of the scale. The participants response ranged from somewhat agree to strongly agree. Majority of the participants had different quantitative data for campus than municipal. Kevin and Bryan both refer to their statement as personal morality although Kevin somewhat agrees and Bryan agrees. Kevin stated,
I don’t want to make it seem like their job isn’t important or have no impact but you hear on TV and news all the times campuses and students getting robbed and raped and stuff like that. They have voice and reason but the stuff that [campus police] go through isn’t stuff like what a regular police officer is like. [Municipal officers] have to deal with drugs, like breaking big drugs breaking into people’s houses because it’s on campus what can you do in a dorm.….the stuff they go through isn’t as bad [as municipal officers].
Kevin somewhat agree whiles Bryan agrees that “with extreme circumstances a side, you should follow the law.” Although Kevin and Bryan referred to personal morality, Matt referred to legal
