For example Rosa Parks was disobedient by sitting in the back of the bus. She encouraged black people to stand up for what they believe in. The progression made from this was that boycott ended, and the buses of Montgomery, Alabama, were no longer segregated. Another example would be Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the National anthem because of societal wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States, This has influenced other NFL players to actually pay attention to what the National Anthem is about and they have also started taking kneels, and even sitting down during the National Anthem.
Disobedience also changes the moral value of people. For example when people disobey a certain order, the consequences allows them to build a better character. This helps people learn from their mistakes, and the action will most likely not happen again. Another example would be when people here at FDHS get suspended a lot, they realize what they’re doing and starts to do better. This promotes social progress because it teaches people right from wrong and the people will use this lesson throughout their lives.
Most people are convinced that disobedience is not a valuable human trait but I totally disagree because disobedience has led to glorious changes throughout history and even present day.
