Disobedience In Christianity

The Christianity in the world have the dilemma of obeying the laws of the land. Each country in the world is unique even if it may be a tiny detail. The diversity of the government exists in the world all have various types laws. Most of the laws aren’t problem for people, but it may conflict certain groups of people’s beliefs. The Christianity is no exception either since there are laws of the land which prohibits or conflicts with Jesus’ teachings. Even in US, the laws legislated in recent years’ conflict what the Bible had mentioned. For example, around seven States of US have drafted laws protecting homosexuality. The Romans 13:1 says, “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” This shows the sovereignty of God over all authorities because all of them has been created by God. Romans 13:1 proves that God’s commandments should be over human laws. However, Christians cannot cause conflict over the laws that causes disobedience. The Mark 12:17 states, “Then Jesus said to them, "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." And they were amazed at him.” This was time when Pharisees challenged Jesus about how to deal with the same dilemma as this essay. What Jesus said was incredible because He wants people to respect human authority also. The hidden message behind Mark 12:17 is to not make any unnecessary conflicts. Jesus do not want Christians to be involved with politics. Getting involved with politics too much would cause unnecessary conflicts which Christians do not need. Christians already have many things to worry about, and politics does not need to be one of them. Jesus want Christians to obey world authorities while try to find ways to avoid breaking
