John Marr, a well-respected writer, does not agree as Disneyland being the happiest place in earth instead, he hates this place. There are different reasons in which he believes the park hides the accidents that happened between the public and employees. What is more upsetting is that the Disney organization pays more money to hide the negative that happens inside the park than his employees for hiding the bad accidents. For example, in January 1975—Three youths are shot in Tomorrowland in the park’s first reported large-scale gang fight. Another, March 1985—A 17-year-old girl breaks both legs and fractures an arm after she falls from her wheelchair onto a moving platform at the Haunted Mansion ride, and one more just to mention some of the many hidden stories in the Disneyland history. October 1990—A construction worker at Disneyland is critically injured when he falls 30 feet from scaffolding in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride
