I will be showing that Disneyland is a theme park that people should visit because it creates good memories and it has rides for people young and old. Even though the price is higher than other parks like it, you are paying for quality and lastly there are fun activities for adults too. Firstly, Disneyland is a great place to create memories whether you are young or old. There’s so much to do in this theme park. There are all of the rides of course. Each ride is different and creates a thrilling experience. And a souvenir is a sure way to remember your trip. The bestselling souvenir is unsurprisingly Mickey Ears. …show more content…

The full list includes, “Main Street, USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tommorowland, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, and Mickey’s Toontown” (Disneyland). All of these sections of Disneyland are unique with different themes, if not rides. Critter Country is full of rides that are geared especially for young children. Somewhere for adults to relax is, “Mandara Spa at Disney Grand Californian Hotel and Spa” (Attractions). This spa can give you a relaxing escape from all the crowds and lines that usually dominate Disneyland. Another place adults can enjoy themselves is, “Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen – Flambeaux’s Jazz Club” (Attractions). This is a restaurant with jazz playing all day; but then it turns into a full on jazz club at night for adults to enjoy. While some scholars believe that the amusement park is a place allowing individual choice and personal transformation through one’s imagination, others opted for a more cynical view, seeing a degree of consensual control and surveillance at the heart of its creation. Disneyland was not only an incredible success, but, during a time plagued by the nuclear scare and a communist threat, it became a beacon of hope, fun and adventure for the American…
