IBM was one the only major technology company at that time and wanted to build and develop the technology in order to deliver the world’s fastest computer at that time. This IT project was known for its organizational failure that ultimately leads to the termination of the project. The IT project was known as Stretch that aimed to develop the IBM 7030 as the worlds most powerful and fastest computer in the year 1961.
