I want to focus on the recent real-time project currently undergoing in China. The construction of the Shanghai Disneyland is one of the prime and most discussed project due to its mammoth expenditure as well as the resources used to complete this project. The responsibility to execute this project successfully is taken by Walt Disney Company. The Walt Disney is a well known and one of the largest entertainment as well as media company in the world. The construction of the Shanghai Disneyland is the third theme park of Disney in the Asia and thus takes it total tally of six Disney theme parks in the world. The idea of this theme park was announced by the Walt Disney in Oct 2009 and thus got the approval from Chinese National Development Commission.

IBM was one the only major technology company at that time and wanted to build and develop the technology in order to deliver the world’s fastest computer at that time. This IT project was known for its organizational failure that ultimately leads to the termination of the project. The IT project was known as Stretch that aimed to develop the IBM 7030 as the worlds most powerful and fastest computer in the year 1961. According to the article published in the PC World magazine, the project Stretch was one of the biggest IT project failures in the history.
