It is part jungle, part tropical island and there is a desert oasis thrown in as well. I entered into Adventureland by crossing a wooden planked bridge. The walkways were narrow and congested. I walked by the Swiss Family Tree House. Adventureland had many various foreign lands that represent the jungles of Africa, Asia, and South America. I jumped aboard The Pirates of the Caribbean, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Jungle Cruise, as well as the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. I had the chance to meet Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Rafiki, Timon, Tinker Bell, and Goofy.
Follow the strums of the banjo music and the smell of the smoked turkey legs and it will lead you to the old-time wild west of Frontierland. I was enticed to see more of America’s pioneer homeland because of the crash of the cascading water of Splash Mountain and screams of the guests in the runaway trains of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
