The day before my birthday, October 25th, my girlfriend and I made the decision to attend just one of the many parks that belong to the Disney Realm. The happiest place on earth. Walking onto Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was just the beginning of all my excitement as we walked towards the Crossroad of the World to acquire a locker key; I couldn’t help but look around in amazement. It was a bright and sunny day, the shops all lined at the edges of the streets greeted us with great attention to their detail. Once as all our valuables were safely stored, I grabbed my girlfriend’s hand, map in the other to make our way towards Star Tours. The wait time was rather long, however time seemed to go by at a steady quick pace and in no time we had our 3D glasses in hand, ready to board our flight. C-3PO was our captain along with R2-D2 and before our departure we learned that our cabin was carrying a rebel spy, and we had to return him safely. Which we did of course, but being slightly shaken up on our way. After our adventure at the Star …show more content…
At the sight of an ice cream vendor my girlfriend hurriedly pulled me towards buying an ice cream, which we shared, as stumbled upon Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! We cheered Indy and Marion on while they executed marvelous stunts with special effects while demonstrating how they film the movie magic. My girlfriend gripped onto my arm gasping, cringing, and shielding herself behind me, when the most astonishing performance of stunts occurred. She was so star struck in awe, at the event happening right before our eyes, muttering the words “Oh my god” and “No” under her breath. Leading her out of the arena, she insisted on acquiring yet another ice cream cup which had resembling taste to lemonade and we advanced to Muppets Vision 3D, where we watched them perform a hilarious

Six Flags Last year I decided to go to Mozzeria for my deaf event, and this year I knew that I wanted to do something different. When I heard that Six Flags was devoting a day for the deaf, I marked my calendar because I figured it would be different than the typical restaurant scene. The only problem was that I didn’t want to go alone, and I knew that my mom and sister wouldn’t want to go. I asked Alex if he wanted to go with me and he said he would have to see, he texted me later and said that he would love to go and that his mom could drive us both there.…

When we arrived at Six Flags, I bolted out of my car faster than lightning. I wanted to ride the biggest and most dangerous roller coaster there. I was probably one of the most craziest kids there, but I didn’t care. As I was looking for one, I smelled food. A little meal couldn’t hurt me, so I got one.…

As a child, my parents shaped me into their ideal image of a little girl. The formation of their ideals actually started long before I first opened my eyes in the hospital. My story began back in 1988, when my parents met while working at Walt Disney World as cultural exchange workers from Canada. Their romance is a fairy tale. They had their first date at the Magic Kingdom, they spent all their days off on a Florida beach, and they experienced the technical magic that Disney is so well-known for.…

“Alright Girls, we are back on land.” Mr. Water says helping us out of the boat. I think we all must look like a bunch of crazy people because all of us are just standing there, looking at all that we missed over the past two and a half years. In fact, we’re standing still so long that Mr. Waters laughs at us and takes each of our hands and drags us along. When we get up past the boating dock, we see a celebration has taken place because we have all made it back.…

"THREE, TWO, ONE!" The voice screams as the ride countdown begins, and suddenly we get shot out of the starting point at a whopping 60 miles an hour straight into the dark blacklight lit abyss. This along with the fearful drops of a lightning struck tower, a now empty concrete pad and two stunt shows along with many more make up Hollywood Studios. Another with flying elephants and two runaway mine trains make up the Magic Kingdom. Then the Yeti infested mountains and Dinosaur cities make up the Animal Kingdom.…

In the initial observation of his written work, Student A lacked variety in his piece. His thoughts and words were well organized but very mechanical. For our third session I decided I wanted to explore with him on how to brainstorm ideas before he writes an assignment. I had drawn up a blank graphic organizer and explained how to use it. I asked him to pick a topic and insert it in the middle of the organizer.…

A hemangioma is a benign tumor composed of blood vessels. One such tumor inhabits the back of my right eye known as the “macula” which is responsible for our keenest vision. As a result, I am legally blind in that eye. This condition is extremely rare as I have been told and as I can ascertain from a Google search for “macular hemangioma” that yields no relevant results. The discovery of this affliction has diverted my life’s path to a very unlikely place: The National Institutes of Health.…

The day seemed to drag on and on, as I waited, counting down the days to California. It was a humid, sunny afternoon down at the Alton pool, where I usually spend most of my summer days working as a lifeguard. Today was very different than most…. And maybe the reason why was because it was my last day of work before I flew off to the big L.A. Most days at the pool the time went by slower than any I have ever known, with the scorching hot sun burning my skin, and little kids yelling at their friends telling each other secrets or what they want to play next.…

I began to feel gloomy and disappointed in how the day was turning out. Wondering what ride would even operate during these horrible conditions, I pouted silently to myself.
