"The mission of The Walt Disney Company is to be one of the world 's leading producers and providers of entertainment and information. Using our portfolio of brands to differentiate our content, services and consumer products, we seek to develop the most creative, innovative and profitable entertainment experiences and related products in the world." (Walt Disney Company, 2016)
Company Description: Disney, Inc. is a worldwide diverse entertainment company operating in business segments such as Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, Studio Entertainment, and Consumer & Interactive Products. However, Disney, Inc. recently decided to combine both the Consumer and Interactive products in June of 2015. Regardless, Disney’s name remains in the limelight of the animation industry since 1923, providing amusement and pleasure to adults and children alike. Additionally, animated creations such as Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Mickey Mouse Club House deemed the founder, Walter Elias Disney, as the pioneer of animation (By Adrien-luc, 2016). By the same token, the infamous Disney title is well-known globally as they cleverly operate in over 40 countries worldwide, with dedicated employees who promise to deliver experiences that are both universally and locally adored (@WaltDisneyCo, 2016).
