When I went on the Disney Cruise, the ship was called the Disney Wonder. This ship is 964 feet in length which is longer than Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. I think when the builders planned this ship, they thought the bigger, the better. The cruise ship traveled from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta to Cabo San Lucas and then back to Los Angeles. We were passengers on the ship for seven days. It was the best seven days of my life!
From the first time I stepped on the Disney cruise ship I knew I would have fun. When we boarded the ship, the Disney characters Chip and Dale greeted us, along with many others. For an eight year old getting to see Disney characters was a dream come true. In the lobby of the cruise ship was a beautiful gold design with many photo opportunities. Next we went to level four to find our bedroom. Our room had two sets of bunk beds and a tv. I slept on the bottom bunk. My favorite room on the ship was the Kids Klub. To help the parents, they take care of their kids. For example, waiters will cut the food for kids so that parents can have a break. After dinner, they gather up the kids to bring to kids klub while parents stay and enjoy the rest of the evening. Even when I was sick, the staff members were extremely helpful and efficient. First, they came into the room and cleaned the sheets and clothes. Within three hours, my pajamas and doll clothes were washed, ironed, and delivered. In the morning they even came with breakfast in bed. When I was feeling a bit better, my mom and I went down to the nurse’s office. I thought the nurse was very helpful and caring. He gave me medicine and 2 otter pops. Later a worker came with 6 more otter pops because they knew I loved them. All the workers on the Disney Cruise helped me enjoy my vacation even while I was
