Usually a princess has a perfect figure that most girls will never have. They are your typical what everyone thinks a princess is. Kids these days are struggling with what "real" beauty is and what "fictional" beauty is. They don 't know that they are beautiful just the way they are made. Usually the villains are portrayed as nasty looking or distorted in physical structure and facial structure. Beauty and actions are defined by what’s in the heart. The heroes are seen in majestic clothing and look almost perfect.
The common folk are shown as a burden when in reality most of the people in the world are common folk. The idea of beauty and since more than likely a girl will be of a family of middle class, she will feel cheated in life. Her self image from a young age is seen as troublesome. The boys see these heroes dressed in flowing clothes and great big muscles and think why don 't I look like that? The idea of self image is often portrayed out for the kids by Disney and the true values that should be bestowed on them by their parents are trumped by those subliminal messages that Disney sends to young
