My routine for completing virtual work varies. Either I do work wednesday night, do the work thursday morning, or procrastinate and start working a couple hours before the work is due. I take virtual work seriously, and accordingly try to start early so I can put my best work forward. Board Meeting Journal Questions I have been at Wahlert for fifteen years and in that time I have never attended a board meeting. Part of the reason why was that I never felt a need too. The other portion of the reason was that I had been to enough meetings at the first school that I taught at because I was the union president. In that role, I was the constant presence at board meetings, grievance hearings, and contract negotiations. When I delivered the teaching session, the experience was an overall success with students showing a clear interest and engaging in the lesson (Table 1, question 10, mean 4.3). The teaching began with a clear introduction to the key learning points for the whole session (Table 1, question 5, mean 4.3), which allowed the students to understand what the session was going to entail. This was beneficial to those who needed to see the big picture to see how topics fit together[1]. I further explained that the session will be split into three sections and explained that certain learning outcomes will be covered in each section. Forum Reflection When posting to an online public forum, there is a responsibility that the users can either take or disregard completely. On the gun control forum that my group decided to use, there was a mixture of both responsible, well-mannered users, and disrespectful internet “trolls”.
