Out of the three theoretical perspectives that sociologists use, the one that most closely reflects my own views of society is the symbolic-interaction approach because what “society thinks” is equivalent to what the majority of people think. An example of this in a smaller scale is the Asch Experiment, a study conducted to see the effects of social pressure. Each round of the study consisted of one participant and several other fake participants. They all were asked a question, with the real participant being the last one to answer.
