It is important that TA's are familiar with the range of outside agencies and the responsibilities of professionals who support pupils' educational development in order to work effectively together and to support such professionals working in the best interests of the school and most importantly the child and their families.

Child Matters (ECM) framework, and know how and where to seek further assistance or advice on
SEN and disability and a range of other issues.
