However, I did get the chance to direct calls from clients to social workers. I also participated in going shopping with one of the social worker aide’s for foster children. There was also an independent living meeting that took place in our office this week but I didn’t get a chance to sit in on it. Lastly I attended court with my supervisor because she had to testify for a custody battle.…

I observed a Papanicolaou (PAP) smear procedure, setup, and collection with theThinPrep Pap test. Under the direction of Raymond, I set up a nebulizer treatment and observed a patient perform a peak flow meter measurement, which must be performed before and after the nebulizer treatment is given.…

I have decided to observe children from 5-6 age groups. The activity I prepared for them is science-based with appropriate materials. As for developing this activity, according to Piaget ( ), “As children experience phenomena, rather than simply hearing about it or instead of just reading someone else’s description, they are constructing knowledge” (p.150). By this, it applies to all the young children who should be self-directed and seek independence. Basically,…

We have Graduate Medical Education (GME), a SIM Center, Group Education and Training (GET) and the Clinical Investigation Facility (CIF).
