Discuss How Fiscal Planning And Strategic Planning Are Related.

Effective healthcare organizations develop short and long-term goals through development of constant assessment of future goals and effective economic goals. A strategic plan is designed to increase revenue, it includes executive board members to meet and discuss increasing revenue on a period of up to ten years, considering the future for growth, and more money (Marquis, 2015). “It is imperative therefore, that long-range plans be flexible, permitting change as external forces assert their impact on health care-care facilities” (Marquis, 2015 p. 140). Visionary leaders reflect the future, and decide what needs to happen and what the organization will look like in the future from a competitive standpoint. Are you aware of your organization’s strategic plan? Are nurse leaders involved in the planning process?
At the hospital, I work at, I was not aware of the strategic plan, after talking with the Director of Nursing (C. George, personal communication Oct. 15, 2017) I learned, part of their strategic plan includes, a group of 6 members to include CEO, clinical director, and medical director, VP nurse, for goals

Strategic planning and fiscal planning are related to budget responsibilities, cost containment and quality care. Both work together planning, budgeting related to improvement with goals such as information technology systems, medical equipment that is outdated and renovations within the hospital, new projects set for quality care. Both use, flexibility, productivity reports allowing their business to prosper overall (Marquis 2015).
Looking from the strategic standpoint, the key is to make sure the right managers are in the right positions to drive goals and keep the budget where it needs to be, so organizations plan drives the budget, and at the end of the year employees can enjoy their gain-share from past
