Racism is when you dislike and are prejudice to someone due to their race. Racism is discrimination on someone for their race, religion, skin color, and ethics. By judging someone by their stereotype, you are being racist towards that person. To some people, they believe that racism is when you think one race is superior and better than another race. “Mills has a lot of Asian students.” This statement is not racist as some may think. Instead, this sentence is pointing out the statistic of the Asian population in Mills, and just simply how there are a lot of Asian students in the school. “Since you are Asian, then you must be extremely smart and have a 4.0 GPA, or at least a really high GPA.” This statement, on the other hand, is racist.
