Discrimination Of Women Since The 18th Century

Since the early 18th century, women faced discrimination just because of their sex. Even though women in the early ages were meant to take care of adolescent and house chores, women should not be discriminated by gender.
In presidential elections, against Clinton and Trump, Trump’s “locker room talk” was released. Trump bragged in vulgar terms about kissing, groping, and trying to have sex with women.” He made it clear that since he was rich and a superstar, he could do whatever he wanted, but the people of America did not believe so. When the tape was released, women started #notokay on social media, talking about their sexual assault stories, harassment, and other types of abuse. This movement became to fade away after the apology from Trump. But in January, he was elected President of the United States. …show more content…
They chanted slogans like “My neck, my back, my  will grab back,” and marched marched with posters like, “ Women’s rights are Human rights”. They are letting others know that genders equal and should be treated the same. After the women's march in January, they started #adaywithoutwomen to show a day without their mothers, daughters, sisters, students, or friends.
When Trump’s “locker room talk” was sent to the public, genders of all races came together to fight for equality. By making viral hashtags, marches, and stay-ins the equality of genders is shifting to better place
