Discrimination in society through stereotype obese Discrimination is being treated unfairly compared to someone else , due to social level, class,education,or appearance. Stereotype is creating an idea about certain people which could be according to race,gender and culture.Stereotyping is one of the things that causes discrimination.Obesity is a stereotype,obesity means having more fats compared to the normal body weight(Funder,2011).People discriminate obese,as obesity is considered as a disability.Society puts huge pressure on people to look perfect and adapt into a certain size. Obese children find it terrible to buy clothes also they may suffer from body dismorfic disorder as they are not satisfied with their appearance.Also,fat passengers are being banned from the airlines as they can't treat overweight passengers.
