In this film, we can clearly see that there was a discrimination between race for survival and among Christian faith. The main character (Kurt Gerstien), who is a German chemist, was tasked to the NAZI project for his opinion. He formulated a chemical that can be used to cleanse the toxic in water. Later on, this chemical was used by the wrong hands in order to slaughter this Jewish people in unhuman way of killing them. In one way or another, this movie have shown us on how people weigh things. People weighs their decisions on two things like here in the movie, lives of many or teachings of the church? Others might consider that life is more important than the teachings of the church. On the other hand, some also considers that teachings must come first before the life of the others. Which is which? Considering that fact that life is at stake and still you intend to purse of what was imposed? In general, we have to choose what is right between good. Why is it not “Bad or Good?”. Simply because what the world sees that is dominantly done by others and because it was done by the majority, they equate it as good or the right, false judgement. It is not an argument between good and bad anymore. The right will always be good but good sometimes cannot be always right. An example would be Robin Hood. What is the reason for him to steal from the rich? Isn’t it to give those what he stole to poor people? Is it right or good? Well, what he did was good but it is not right.
