Jim Crow laws were state and local laws enforcing racial segregation in the Southern United States. These laws made it so blacks were second class citizens and were forced to use separate facility’s such as rest rooms and drinking fountains. We have all made mistakes and deserve a chance to repent and to seek Gods love. In 2 Nephi 26:33 it says “For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.” We see that the Lord wishes all to come unto him and receive of his love and embrace his atonement. Gods kingdom is open to all who will accept him and his son. In the case of the country we should allow all of those qualified and can support themselves when they enter to enter the United States. We should not accept anyone who is a threat to the country or anyone we have not had a background check done
