Sam is concerned with Focus Software potentially targeting Forward Software upon completion of their lawsuit against Discount Software. Sam is faced with a dilemma of whether or not to hire the law firm to assess the outcome of Focus Software vs. Discount Software. If Given the value of the information the law firm provides, Sam needs to assess the fairness of the firm’s offer of $0.7 million.
With Focus Software's lawsuit against their competitor Discount Software, Focus looks to set precedence in copyright infringement to come after Forward and their new product, Cinco.
