Disclosure of an illness is dependent on the level of severity the disease may have on performing a task and or the safety of the person. There is a difference between disclosing an illness in a personal setting and in a professional setting. In a professional work setting disclosure of the illness especially if it adds physical limitations or information that may be needed if an accident were to happen. MS is a disease that will impact the ability to work and it sometimes can lead to unemployment (Frndak et al., 2015).
