Juvenile probation is the oldest and most widely used program through which a range of court-ordered services is provided. Approximately 70% of juveniles that are arrested are placed on probation. Probation may be used for low-risk first-time offenders or as an alternative of solitary for more serious offenders. In some cases, probation may be voluntary, in which the youth agrees to agree with a period of probation in place of formal guilty. More often, once found guilty and formally ordered from the court to a term of probation, the juvenile must submit to the probation conditions established by the court. This topic was very interesting to me because in reality as Christian we just focus in our needs and our spiritual needs, we are kind of selfish at time with out sharing the love of god. We need to built a relationship with god and learn how to built them with others. There is verse that explains how god want us to be. In Ephesians 5: 1-2 says “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” I put this verse in my career future, I should be in imitator of god and where I am I should share the love of god. I know becoming a probation officer and helping rehabilitate people instead of punishing them and help them out through life can show a different aspect of a Christian.
