Keeping track of the news, being aware of one’s life is very important during different seasons of the year for the appropriate disaster. Rice et. al. (2010) emphasize on the attitudes from different types of disasters. Many people fail to take warnings seriously. People fail to seek shelter and abide by the rules, even if they are aware of the resources and upcoming procedures for the disasters. In the study, students were given the opportunity to create additional plans for certain disasters. Face-to-face conversations, phone interviews, and surveys was used to gather information about people that have survived the deadly storm.
