Many businesses rely on successful teamwork to reach company goals and objectives. Most have teams within the organisation working to make sure everyone is good and to work on communications. Working with a team will help team members to open up about their individual ideas it will also help with individual skills and help improve on them.

Advantages
We’ve all heard the saying two heads are better than one of course with more minds set on a specific goal it’s easier.

Teams have become standard in the business world there are many different types of teams each work on different things in the workplace for example. Department team – Departmental teams have being around for quite some time. Departmental teams are permanent and typically work on ongoing projects or goal.when in a department team individuals relate to specialty or focus on what he or she has mastered. With every one working towards achieving goals outlined in the company’s mission statement.
Problem solving teams – these types of teams are usually temporary and focus on solving specific issues in the workplace. Virtual team – is a group of individuals who work through communication technology it can be any type of team that communicates digitally rather than in person. Most members of successful teams report that it’s fun and satisfying to work on collaborative teams because they are asked to contribute at their highest potential and they learn a lot along the way.
• Everybody is working towards the same goals.
• Team members are clear on how to work together and how to accomplish tasks.
• Everyone understands both team and individual performance goals and knows what is expected.
Ineffective
In our day to day work, we come across all kinds of team members. Some are excellent to have in our team. Many may not be excellent but do contribute and are willing to learn and change. Some, I am afraid, are just ineffective.
• Don’t pull their weight: They simply do not contribute enough. They don’t live up to commitments. They do not do enough adding to the workload of others in the team.
• Not worthy of trust: They share the wrong things. If you happen to share a confidence with them, they misuse that information. They do not keep a secret. They like to talk of the problems affecting others while keeping theirs to themselves.
• Excuses: For non-performance and blaming others is a common behaviour. Faults lie with others, the kinds of work, the facilities and the clients. Well they blame everyone but there
