As society develops, many people have the opportunity to choose to study abroad in another country. This phenomenon especially applies to my mother country, China. I have to agree that affording a student to study abroad is not an easy task. Also students indeed have to adapt to a new learning environment. However, I believe that adapting to a new environment is something students have to experience during their life. They will learn to shape their behaviors in order to fit the environment better and I strongly believe that this ability to adapt is an essential skill for anyone to have as it can train one’s independence and other qualities. Though studying abroad is expensive, it can still be afforded through scholarships and other financial support programs. And there are chances for the students to find a part-time job, so that they could earn their own money to be partially independent on finance. In addition, through the work, they can understand how hard it is for their parents to support their tuition, therefore, they will treasure the opportunity to study hard. Moreover, this kind of educational investment is always worth of it since after earning a high-quality degree can bring back much more than the costs before.
