Disadvantages Of Psychic Phenomena

Psychic phenomena is abilities or actions that people can do with their mind which is extrasensory perception. Extrasensory perception is an extra sense where you receive special information with only your brain instead of with your other senses. The special information you receive with your brain is used differently from regular information. All aspects of psychic phenomena is nonexistent because people use psychic phenomena to make money, there is currently no evidence supporting it, and many people who claim to have psychic abilities can not prove it based on set scientific standards.

When psychics do Randi’s experiments to prove their abilities they always fail and still always claim that they are real. Randi is a magician who put a million dollars into a bank account that he would give to anyone who could prove that they have psychic abilities. He spends his time testing whether or not people actually have psychic abilities by setting up tests using scientific standards. He always can come up with a answer or a trick to show how psychic people can use their abilities without being a psychic.

An example would be when Randi set up an experiment for a man who used dowsing rods to try to find hunting dogs. The man would take some hair from the hunting dog and then when the hunting dog would go off and run away he would only be able to find the correct dog half of the time. The other half of the time he would end up finding the wrong dog. The only reality about his ability is that he would be able to find a dog, but it could or could not be the correct one.
