There are two types of democracy, which is direct democracy and indirect democracy. The basic requirements for direct democracy is that decision is made by consensus, and every citizen need to gather in polis. The positive side of direct democracy is every citizen need to vote. And it represents all citizens’ opinion. The negative side of direct democracy is that it is not efficient. It is hard for gathering all citizens to vote. It takes lots of time to gather citizens in polis. Also, it is hard to let every citizen have the same decision. Indirect democracy requires people rule through elected officials. And citizens have to vote to elect the representative. And the representative will represent for the public. Indirect democracy save times
