The word outsiders refers to people who aren’t literally outside but are instead outside the norm of the society. An outsider ,does ,sees ,and thinks in a different manner than the other people around them. An Outsider could be viewed as a person who is with no group. If a house is society, then outsiders watch the people who enter and leave the house while standing by the mailbox waiting for a news to change the people inside. While outside, the Outsiders ponder two questions: where do I fit and when will the change they want arrive. S. E. Hinton left this for us to question the definition but rather who are the outsiders.
