My dirt road has been a hindrance to my neighborhood which has caused more than enough trouble. Once we arrived on the scene we see that her car is completely flipped over, crushed, and she was outside crying on my brother’s shoulder. We were once a communal species, hunting, gathering, and foraging for the benefit of ourselves and those around us. Although we moved away from a society formed on the mutual needs for survival we continue the practice of asking our neighbors for help when we are knees deep in a cookie recipe, stranded without eggs. However even this once commonplace practice of neighborly interaction is developing into a thing of the past, a mindset derived on mutual need has devolved into one centered solely on each individual. Our “We” mentality has been transfigured into a mindset precariously fixated on “me and mine”. As technology continues to develop, we dive deeper into the abyss of apathetic behavior, favoring a conversation through text than face to face human interaction, or liking a picture of a newborn on Facebook instead of holding that newborn in person.…

A man for all seasons, as demonstrated through the common man in the play by Richard Bolt, is a person with the ability to change their “self” in order to adapt to multiple situations. Literally, this person loves all the seasons, but not because he has an equal affinity for blooming flowers, surfing, pumpkin spiced lattes, and skiing. This person changes parts of their self or identity in order to embody a lover of each season. Where they might love summer because their favorite weather is hot and humid, in winter they actually change the fact that their favorite weather is hot and humid to below zero temperatures and use that as justification for the change. A man for all seasons is characterized by their ability to change their morals, their…
