Dinwiddie Middle School Research Paper

Improved Essays
If Dinwiddie Middle School would let me change one thing about the dress code i think i would have to chose to change the policy about wearing a hood in school. I would chose to change this because sometimes having a hood on can greatly help students concentrate, sometimes it helps with headaches, and sometime students just get cold in school.
I think that DMS should change their policy on wearing a hood in school. I think this because sometimes students think it is just a form of style. i think that is ok because they don't mean any harm by wearing a hood in school.
I also think that it should be alright to wear a hood because sometimes student get headaches in school. The nurse cannot do anything about a headache and wearing a hood can

There are many different types of controversial arguments that people do not agree with. There is an argument that I would like to get to the bottom too. The problem is that there are schools that do not allow hats at school because they are so called “gang related.” I do not understand what makes hats supposedly gang related. Wearing a baseball hat or even a school hat is not allowed.…

Fairfield Jr/Sr High School should change the dress code to be more open for students because our right to express ourselves is important, but at Fairfield Jr/Sr High School people do not have as much freedom as we want at all times during school. Everyone learns discipline, how to respect the feelings of others, and also how to live in the real world in order to be successful. Making students dress codes less strict will not only create a better learning environment, but would also help prepare us for our futures. One reason why there should not be dress codes in school, or better yet less restriction especially, is that we, the students do not get to express our clothing styles we may have.…
