Dinner’s Done is a food startup service that is in need of a multimedia campaign to target smaller sized families that are health conscious about what they eat. “A multi- media campaign is a form of organized media forms used to reach a target audience.” The company has already chosen a target market, and is now in the stage of choosing between various media types.
While taking into consideration effectiveness and cost efficiency, I would recommend that Dinner’s Done use the internet as their medium for a marketing campaign. Using an Online medium comes with the advantages of having an “inexpensive, interactive, and instant marketing campaign.” No other medium offers such widespread coverage for such an inexpensive price. Social media is a large part of our societies culture today. People are always connected to social media sites whether it is through their phones, tablets or laptops. By assimilating to this culture and designing our marketing strategy around these popular sites like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook we can reach the largest number of consumers. In these advertisements, it is important to ensure that the promotion is brief, informative, clear and concise. All of these aspects play a key role in the way customers view and respond to the service. For example, I would recommend using YouTube as a site to promote Dinner’s Done because of its popularity and video streaming coverage. Through a video Ad, the launching company should limit the information provided to just what is needed like the price, health facts, and quantity that comes with each purchase. This will ensure that the ad is brief and concise while only giving the consumer the information that he or she needs to know. It is important that the viewer does not feel bombarded with too much information at once, otherwise they will tend to forget important pieces of
