Rousseff’s impeachment will benefit the economic confrontation in Brazil, considering she used money from state banks to fill in her budget, unemployment has led Brazil into a recession, and Brazil’s currency has lost ten percent of its value. However, Dilma is not to be held for Brazils monetary issues, but as President, she has the responsibility to monitor financial issues.
Rousseff’s is being accused of controlling state banks while financing government programs, including VAR Palmares known as a military organization and Petrobras Petroleum Company. It started when China stopped purchasing oil from Brazils oil and petroleum companies. In December 2015 Dilma Rousseff was charged with breaking budgetary laws on borrowing money from banks to pay for social programs, and blamed for many other recessions in the previous years. Rousseff’s so called, “brilliant accounting” techniques which explained that Dilma borrowed loans from different national banks to Brazil’s government was falling apart with troublesome economic issues. During June of 2016, rates enhanced to 11.3 percent. In the previous year, unemployment was increased to 10.2 percent when the U.S. was having a great recession in 2009. (Gillespie 11) Therefore, President Dilma Rousseff should concern herself with unemployment rates because it is her duty as president to help sustain economy at a modern level.
