This super grand event was when I moved to America. Every time I am asked to write about it, I do the same thing. I ask my parents a bunch of questions because I was a five year old and I remember very little from that time. I then proceed to write a mediocre story at best that often includes the “American Dream”. This then receives an envy-worthy grade because people who have never moved to another country before seem to find the process intriguing. These kinds of people are a rather large group and easily entertained by the story of an immigrant. This works well to my advantage.
Whenever this assignment is assigned, my parents get all sorts of questions. The main questions are how did this process happen, where did this process happen, when did this process happen, and why did this process happen. I am a chronic procrastinator like most other school age children. This period, which may span anywhere from 2 hours to 2 weeks, is filled with many mindless activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, watching Netflix, sleeping, eating, and wandering around. While the duration of this lapse in productivity is variable, the outcome is always the same. Without fail, I cram approximately a day’s worth of work into a 1-2 hour period. Of course this is with varying degrees of
