Digital Tools Analysis

Lynda Haas agree that digital tools can improve writing and they are superb effective for writing. She has been involved in the writing program at the University of California for 10 years. She is responsible for teaching first-year writing and she training the first-year student for composition. She claimed, “ Increasingly, part of that experience is learning to use technology as a fountain for the writing process”(Lynda, sec.2). She is trying to say that technology is helpful for writing process and improves people’s writing. She is experienced with technology since all her writing class is performed digital and experiment with digital literacy. By using digital tools she can see if the student is reading books when they are supposed to and give a quiz to students to prove that they actually did read the books. Digital tools help simplifies the process of writing and help the improvement of higher education. She explains that digital tools help her to have detail reports of what student need to improve on and digital tools help the student to improve their writing by using online tools which teacher can give feedback. Her tone is, “If you are excited and enthusiastic, and thus focus on the benefits of using technology, your students will be excited as well”(Lynda, sec.12).
