Training can be completed in 3 - 4 weeks time and it is important that new team of developers and analyst is aware of Big data implementation. Let’s now look at why TCS needs to implement Bigdata at M&S and how this implementation will add value to TCS and M&S. TCS being trusted partner of M&S, TCS can use this implementation project to establish its brand name among market leaders and can use it as an opportunity to improve its current organizational climate which will motivate its employees to learn new technologies. Big data contains large complex data sets that traditional data processing applications are unable to process. Challenges in dealing with this data include analysis, capture, search, sharing, storage, transfer, and visualisation and information privacy. The term Bigdata often refers to the use of predictive analytics or other certain advanced methods to extract value from data. Accuracy in big data may lead to more confident decision making. And better decisions can mean greater operational efficiency, cost reduction and reduced risk. Analysis of data sets can find new correlations, spot business trends, prevent diseases, combating crime and so on. Scientists, Business analysts and governments often have challenges in identifying large datasets like social media, internet search and business informatics ultimately they are unable to extract data from them. Data sets grow in size in part because they are increasingly being gathered by cheap and numerous information-sensing mobile devices, aerial (remote sensing), software logs, cameras, microphones, radio-frequency identification (RFID) readers, and wireless sensor networks.
