Digital Technologies Case

Matthew has made terrific progress in Digital Technologies. The main areas that held him back from getting an Excellence for the Website assessment was his planning and testing. He did improve his planning during the Database project but again his testing was insufficient. He is currently writing a report due before the end of the term on Networking.

Bayley is making adequate progress in Digital Technologies. He has been absent on several occasions and this is setting back his development. His projects have been rushed and barely meet the requirements. I suggest he put in more homework if he is getting behind or arrange catch up lessons during lunchtime if he misses a class.

Jackson has made pleasing progress in Digital Technologies. The

He struggled to meet the submission date in the Web development assessment and consequently he did not complete the project. His Database project showed a lot of promise, he will need to plan his projects though, if he wants higher grades.

Chris has made limited progress in Digital Technologies. He has been missing a lot of lessons and is finding it difficult to hand in work on time as a consequence. The next assessment is a written report on Networking, this is due before the end of this term.

William is making fine progress in Digital Technologies. The main areas that held him back in his website assessment was a lack of thorough testing and folder organisation. For the Database assessment he made errors with SQL and his results were incorrect, so he will need to revise these skills to improve. He is writing a Networking report due before the end of the term.

Conner is an extremely able and enthusiastic member of the group who has taken a keen interest in Digital Technologies. He has successfully passed all internals so far with Excellence grades. Networking is the next assessed topic, then programming in the Java language, so he should be encouraged to practice programming as much as he
