The patient is a 91-year-old female who is brought to the ED by her family. She is having difficulty swallowing since the day before presentation. She attends an adult daycare center and came home that evening was having difficulty swallowing. They gave her some water, crackers and she immediately vomited. She complained of a feeling of a sensation of something stuck in her throat. She was brought to the ED. Her medical history is significant for a previous CVA, history of dementia, right eye blindness, schizophrenia and hypertension. She seen by Dr. 10 call he is able to remove large piece of impacted food and feels that there some narrowing of the midesophagus. She is to have a swallowing eval.
