They started to change their fashion and styles of how they used to look like because before the 1920s women tended to look older. They were wore flapper dresses, it shows the women cleavage, the dress was up to the knee, and the straps was spaghetti straps. The dress was also very loose and slantly straight down, so it didn't show any curves or body texture.
