Backgrounds and current situations I say can influence, I can’t really base it that religion alone has them go to college as religion with me is not the biggest I think about in life. When I get to know someone, the last thing I can expect is for them is to announce what religion they follow rather on what field of education and or degree they are going for as well as information about themselves. When I know that someone has a different motivation than I do for college, it makes me at the least curious. Do they want to further their hobby into something more? Or is it out of the necessity of having to keep up with today’s standards of the work industry?
I can admit that i’m on the fence of diversity being important, I do not see it as much of an importance and see it as more of a requirement, but of an optional importance. In the end we’re all just people getting by in life, praising diversity just because we’re all different in one way or another feels a bit off.
