Censorship In China Censorship occurs in many parts of the world, for instance, China, Turkey, India, Hong Kong and multiple more. However, the fundamental question that is inquired is, what is censorship? Censorship can be considered as the ability to prohibit any website, television shows, books, films etc. due to political deception and a threat to security. In an online poll of censorship the question most likely asked is, is censorship efficient or not. Overall, 36% agreed that it was effective and 64% thought it wasn't effective. This shows that the majority of the world is against the thought of censoring content. There are many different types of censorships around the world. One type of censorship is moral censorship where scenes that are considered obscene or morally unacceptable are censored. Another type of censorship is political censorship where the government restricts all resources that show the people atrocious facts or opinions about their government. The cause of censorship in China is the government, which is leading people to having inaccurate information about their country, forcing people to dislike their government leaders and laws, and also is causing people to hack websites. The leaders of the censorship in that area are the Communist party. The communist party is using different alternatives to stop people from hacking into the censored content. Furthermore, different television shows are blocked to keep their children from having different religious beliefs and because of political views. In conclusion, the immensely strong government of China has barricaded countless websites to keep people from knowing the true history of its government, so the citizens of China need to step forward and take a stand for their
