Abuse can take place within unstable relationships where one partner is more dominant and controlling of the other. This usually results in one of the following types of abuses to be carried out leading to bad consequences. It includes pornography, sexual harassment, rape etc. Sexual abuse can happen to both mentally capable adults and those with disabilities by their partner, family member or trusted people in their lives. Mentally incapable adults especially those who are in care homes can be victims of sexual abuse and sometimes if they are not caught in actions they may never be reported. Elderly patients may also become victims of sexual abuse because they may have had a stroke, some sort of brain damage or medical disorder that caused them to lose their speech or motor skills therefore they are unable to report any sexual abuse that may be going on or they are unable to help themselves. In some cases there have been individuals who have been threatened to being physically abuse if they expose them of being their tormentor. As a result of this, more people are becoming sexually abused because not many people are able to report it maybe because they are unaware or they fear of their safety. The signs of abuse are very similar to those in physical abuses so this also includes torn clothing however there are some more graphic signs that an individual will face. These vary from stained clothing due to forceful sexual acts or being abused for not willing to partake in any indecent exposure or they have been raped. They will also find it very difficult to walk and sitting however we cannot always assume that this is the case if it is the only indicator shown. Yet again, like physical abuse the individual may feel threatened and will therefore flinch and be nervous around other people no matter who they are. The symptoms that they will face severe pain and itching down the anal area. Also, you may be able to spot bite marks and bruises on breasts, face and neck. Some people may end up with STI’s as a result of having unconsented sex so they will have to
