These two aspects can go hand-in-hand. If I’m not prepared that will affect the students ' performance, my performance and their willingness to be engaged and on task. I can be a perfectionist and being unprepared has caused me to have high anxiety in the past. To help minimize my anxiety and concerns about being prepared, I will prepare my lesson plans at least three weeks in advance, along with alternative lessons and activities. My main goal as an educator is provide as much knowledge to my students as I can. However, having students on multiple learning levels or with behavior problems can make this task quite difficult. To add to the difficulties I may have with my ELL students, it could also be challenging communicating with their parents or parents who speaks a different language. Building relationships with my students’ parents is just as important as building a relationship with my students.
