We all grow up with different ideas of the perfect guy, the perfect boyfriend, sometimes we wish to be able to build our own as if they were male Barbie dolls. Well ladies, I have figured out the perfect formula of the man for me. Luckily I didn’t even have to make him. He was introduced to me on the way to a Florida Georgia Line concert wearing a white Columbia fishing shirt and most perfect smile. Most search for what they want in life, but if a relationship is meant to be it will magically always find it’s way to us. That is the great thing about this thing we call love, we don’t have to make it in a factory. To me a good boyfriend is wholly committed, supportive in every aspect of life, and a loving companion. A good boyfriend will always be a loving companion. He will get you through the bad and celebrate with you through the good times. By being a loving companion he will show you attention and make you feel like the most important girl in the world. Daniel is my person, he is my loving companion. He tells me on a daily basis how pretty he thinks I am and how lucky he is to have a girl like me. I could not ask for a more caring boyfriend. Being a good loving companion is not a routine but being genuine in all your words and actions every day. For example, one afternoon I was hanging out at his apartment while he went to the grocery store. He made it back, came inside and said he wasn’t able to get everything so he asked me to go to the truck to get the rest. I open the door, on the front porch a boutique of my favorite flowers laid there. I picked them up, turned around, and there he stood to tell me he knew I had been having a bad day and he wanted to change that. It is the little things in this world that count. Having a loving companion makes the bad times easier and the good times even

Often times, while in a relationship, an individual will loose sight of their identity and conform to what they believe to be the “ideal” mate for the other person. According to Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, authors of Real Relationships, “Smart love doesn’t try to change oneself” (127). One of the most important objects to feel secure in is one’s identity, but it is the most crucial thing before entering a relationship.…

The author uses specific techniques to create vivid events in order to produce meaningful text in the story. Cassie and the Logan family leaves to Strawberry and an angry fight breaks out with Cassie and Lillian Jean. In the story it says, “‘She made me apologize to to that ole ugly Lillian Jean ‘bout something wasn’t even my fault.’” Cassie becomes frustrated for being treated harshly, which ties it back to the thesis, since Cassie becomes very defensive to show that it was unfair for her to apologize for something she has not done.
