People have a lot of different culture that they can pick from depending on what they want to do and if the culture works for them. There are a few places that people don’t know our culture until finding out more about them. Reading “What is Culture” by Roland Pearce talks different cultures that are out there and if they follow certain steps then anything can be a culture. Looking into a hospital would have been interesting but looking into behavioral health seems a lot better to do. Finding people to interview about the job and what they do. Crestwood Manor has different jobs for people that work there. People that work there are housekeeping, maintenance, nursing, and dietary. In those four choices of jobs there are a lot of positons that people can be in. Take a look at nursing, supervisors, medical records, different branches of nurses which some title are hard to explain what they are. Each worker there has their job that they must do for their eight or more shift. Saying that then there needs to be “set limits that each person must follow.” (Pearce) The main part of Crestwood is nursing because it is a care home and recovery center. “Nursing to me is a feel good job.” (Croffoot) Working with patients is a big part of being a nurse is and helps the patient get better to be able to leave. “Helping patients in the recovery process of mental illness makes a big impact when on the road to success.” (Prasad) Mental Health is a special kind of nursing because of the mental illness that effect people from being able to get back out there into society. By doing that will prepare the patients to better themselves to not come back to the place or return because they messed up. Patients have been known to come back on their own because where they were at didn’t fit their needs and like how they were treated at the behavioral
